I have been very fortunate in my life that I have held jobs where I am truly able to help people. As a teacher/ Football and Baseball coach at Perkins-Tryon, Perry, Antlers, and Cushing High Schools, I was able to guide and influence students and athletes as they moved into adulthood.
When I retired from teaching in 2001, I was looking for a new career where I could continue to help and guide others. I have found this as an Investment Advisor. As a coach, I helped transition students into adults, and now I help adults move toward retirement by presenting them with strategies to protect themselves, their loved ones and their businesses along the way.
In the 15 years I have been in the investment industry, my greatest satisfaction is developing a relationship of trust, mentoring and achieving goals for my clients just as I had previously done with my students and athletes.
Outside the office, I enjoy sports of all kinds, hunting, fishing, competition in general. I dont like being on the sideline, I want to be in the game. The most important thing to me is my wife Virginia of 43 years, my daughter and her husband, my son and his wife, and my 5 grandsons.
